If a tree falls in the forest, does anybody hear?

Well, here we go. A blog for me. Do I actually have anything to say? I am not sure. I am enjoying a beautiful sunny and hot afternoon with my dogs. Is three too many? It is amazing how little it takes for a dog to get enjoyment. Sitting in the sun brings utter contentment. Only concerns are water and who will throw my ball. Me on the other hand is more like: the lawn sure needs cutting, if only the yard were more level, can I get away with not poop scooping today, what bills do I need to get sent..... yet the sun slowly takes over and I am truly happy sitting on my deck, reading my book, and forgetting about all those things I should be doing to spend time... in the sun.
I am sitting on the deck enjoying the shade that all the trees surrounding our house throw down. If I was to cut down the large maple, would anyone really notice. Perhaps my neighbors whose fence it would destroy. Perhaps my husband who does not want me to cut down anymore trees around our yard. So I guess the question should really be: if a tree falls in suburbia, does anybody hear? The answer sadly is yes. At least in my yard.
