Afternoon musings

I am sitting in the relative safety of my home today. I say relative since many things do happen to people at home. Today I hve been thinking of those families waiting to hear any news on whether loved ones are presumed alive or dead in the mine in Utah. Yet again there is a wound on the space shuttle...
I have also been thinking about BC's road of tears. A growing number of young women are going missing in the north. Police will not say if they suspect that it is the work of a serial killer. Personally I would be much happier to hear that, I would rather it was one person or group than to think that all the girls that have been killed have been killed by different people. I find it very scary to think that there would be so many killers in one area of our province.

Ok enough of the depressing stuff... I have two more days then two off. hooray. I am hanging out with the dogs right now. And checking my email, facebook, blog. I am a luddite in many respects. how did I get into all this? and now I am waiting for my scanner to try it out. I have lots of old school pics to get onto disc.
